"After college, Lelaina (Winona Ryder) films a documentary about herself and friends as they flounder in their attempts to forge relationships and begin careers. Vickie (Janeane Garofalo) works retail, has an endless string of one-night stands and awaits the results of her HIV test. Sammy (Steve Zahn) tries to come out to his parents. Lelaina gets involved with yuppie Michael (Ben Stiller) while maintaining a love-hate relationship with Troy (Ethan Hawke), who's undergoing an existential crisis."

Reality Bites is a good look at 90's slacker fashion. Laney rocks maxi dark tiny floral print dresses, platform Mary Janes, button down cotton blouses, linen pants and laced up oxfords. Basically everything you want in your closet right now.

Vintage Character: Angela Chase

My So-Called Life might've been the best show ever. I will never understand why it lasted less than six months on tv. It has a cult following now and the fashion is just that perfect mix of Seattle grunge that we all wanted to attain in the mid-90's. Claire Danes as Angela Chase was perfection.

Vintage Character: AHS Coven

American Horror Story's newest season just started a few weeks ago and this time it's centered on witches. I have to say ever since a family Halloween trip to Salem, Massachusetts and seeing The Craft, I've been kind of enamored with the world of the conjuring enchantresses.

Seems witches are having a comeback. Joining American Horror Story: Coven, there's The Witches of East End on tv and recently Beautiful Creatures in the theaters. I'm sure there's more sorcery on the horizon, but I'm more interested in the clothes. ;)

2013 Bonnie & Clyde

I recently hear about the cable miniseries event for Bonnie & Clyde coming in December and I am so excited! Not only do I totally dig the story of the infamous duo but the costumes are looking to be pretty epic.

Vintage Character: Bonnie Parker

Bonnie Parker of the infamous Bonnie & Clyde is actually a real person but has been portrayed so many times on camera, she's become more of a legend and character. For an outlaw and a criminal, she had some pretty sweet style.

Vintage Character: Andie Walsh

I have to confess that my favorite movie of all time is probably Pretty In Pink. Being a redhead myself, I felt an immediate kinship with Molly Ringwald - the ginger of the generation! In the 80's, she made being a redhead bearable. Her funky, vintage and homemade look was awesome (except for the dress - that pink monstrosity was the worst thing in the whole film!)

Andie Walsh has this sort of granny chic look going on with lotsa mixing and matching florals, vests, and pastels. Especially pink (go figure)!
