As part of the Etsy Vintage Street Team's "Walking In A Vintage Wonderland" Holiday promotion, we are giving away a $10 gift certificate to a team member's shop every day for the next 30 days!

Here's how it works: Starting on Friday, November 28th, the Shop Of The Day will be posted every morning here on the blog, and all who wish to enter have until 9pm EST that night to add a comment on the post linking to one of their favorite items from the Shop Of The Day. (Don't forget to also leave your email address in your comment, so we can send you your gift certificate if you win!)

After 9pm we will use a Random Number Generator to pick that day's winner, who will receive the $10 gift certificate good to use toward any order placed in the Shop Of The Day!

The First EVST Sale!

The only thing better than buying vintage on Etsy is buying it on sale--and now's your chance. August 8 through 17 will mark the first annual Etsy Vintage Street Team $12 and Under Sale.

Participating shops will have a wide variety of vintage goodies for $12 or less. To find them using Etsy's pull down search menu, click on "All Items: Tags and Titles" and search for EVSTsale. The sale lasts for a good 10 days, but plan to shop early for maximum selection.

We're Having a Hunt!

It's time for the Etsy Vintage Scavenger Hunt! This Sunday June 1st 2008 from 10am to 10pm shop 16 of your favorite Etsy Vintage Street Team members to find the secret phrase and snag yourself a 25% coupon for one item in EACH PARTICIPATING SHOP! Yes, you'll be able to use that coupon for an ENTIRE WEEK for one item in each shop, shipping & handling not included.

Here are the details!

The hunt will run from 10am to 10pm EST on Sunday June 1st, 2008.

This is the starting point you're next stop is TheVintageButterfly.etsy.com

The theme of the hunt is the color BLUE, so you'll need to search the shops for blue items, inside one blue item will be the hidden graphic that will have a letter on it. Write that letter down and look in the item description for the name of the next shop to visit.

Once you've gone through all the shops and collected all the letter you will have figured out the secret phrase!

Then you can use that phrase as a coupon in all the participating shops! It will be good for 25% off one item per shop*, for use between June 1st and June 8th ONLY. To use it, just purchase the item and include the phrase in the notes to seller, and the seller will send them a revised invoice. *Shipping and handling not included.

So mark your calendars, set your alarms and be ready to go this Sunday at 10am!
