I've loved crewel work since I acquired this amazing scarf a few years ago through an online friend and was so bummed when it was just a little too itchy for me. I'm that person who can't wear wool. I can't even wear cashmere. You know you were pre-destined to be poor when cashmere irritates your skin... This beauty wasn't cashmere, but it was a nice wool with the most amazing crewel work. Ever since then I've been drawn to the art.
